The fused quartz is made from the fine quartz sand through high-temperature smelting (electric smelting temperature: 1800℃-2000℃). It has stable chemical performance, acid and alkaline resistance, high-temperature resistance, low expansion coefficient, high purity, high insulation, good thermal stability and quite low thermal conductance. It is mainly used in the industries of materials for surfaces and shells of precision casting, refractory materials, vitro ceram and electronics.
