The slag remover of the Company is a kind of high-quality slag accretion and insulation material, which can be divided into cast steel and cast iron. It mainly consists of SiO2 and Al2O3 and some other alkaline oxides. If being heated to 1100 ℃ or above quickly, it will expand with such a viscidity that it can stick and collect the molten slag and sundries on the molten steel surface. Additionally, its low thermal conductance can prohibit the thermal conducting and radiation on the molten steel (iron) surface, and realize thermal preservation.
